A Heart Full of Praise and Thanksgiving

As I stated before in previous, this year has been a hard one for me but that makes it all the more important to be grateful and to purposefully find the good.
I am grateful that my husband was able to be a part of The Book of Mormon Videos. Still can't share pictures yet, but it was so fun! I am grateful that we were able to go back to La'ie twice this year and relive how we met and fell in love. I am grateful we both started working for my Mom and Dad's charity. I am grateful that we were able to travel to Guatemala to check on some charities down there. I am grateful that I got my OCI card for traveling to India. I am grateful that I had health insurance this year. I am grateful for my parents who have helped us and provided us love and care in many forms for many years. I am grateful for our new home. I am grateful that I got to finish two paintings and have them framed. I am grateful I found a new therapist that helped me heal more layers of trauma. I am grateful for the many new friendships we made this year. I am grateful for my amazing, loving, serviceable husband who is beside me through everything. I am grateful for my covenants which bind me to Christ and endow me with His power so I can endure all things. I am grateful for The Gospel of Jesus Christ which brings peace, simplicity and clarity to my life. I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Spirit which guides and directs me and teaches me what is true. I am grateful for modern day prophets and modern day revelation. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ who walks with me daily and attends to my every need.
The Lord has been good to me. He has attended to my needs. When I needed him, he was there. When I prayed to him in the darkness he heard me. When I reached out to him, he grabbed my hand. From my up rising to my laying down he has watched over me. On the hills of my gladness and in the valleys of my sorrow he was there. He has healed my heart with his soothing balm. He has counted the tears I cried. He has taught me truth and fed me good things. He has given me living water to drink. He has taught my heart what is good and what is evil. He has taught me to accept his will.
His will is good. His word is mighty. All of creation obeys his will. From the rising of the sun to the setting of the moon, his will is mapped out across the sky as stars and planets obey by following the pattern he laid out in the beginning. From sprouting, to fruiting, to harvest to rest, the trees and plants of the field obey his will in beauty and harmony.
I am so grateful for the life God has given me and the world he has created for us all.
